Insurance Questions

Do you provide out-of-network physical therapy services?

Yes, we function as providers for out-of-network physical therapy services.

How does insurance verification work for out-of-network services?

When scheduling your appointment, we’ll request your insurance details to verify eligibility. Afterward, we’ll call you to explain your benefits and the projected costs of your treatment.

What happens if my deductible isn't met?

If your deductible hasn’t been fulfilled, you’ll be responsible for treatment costs until the full amount is met. Once the deductible is fulfilled, you’ll transition to your plan's copay structure.
Example: If your deductible is $2,000 and you've only paid $500 so far, you would need to pay the remaining $1,500 before copays apply.

What if I don’t have out-of-network coverage?

If your insurance plan doesn’t offer out-of-network coverage, you’ll be responsible for our standard self-pay cash rate for each visit.

Are there any differences with specific insurers like Aetna or BCBS?

Yes, for certain insurers such as Aetna and BCBS, our guidelines might differ. Please contact us for more details.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We are out of network with all insurance plans. Our services may be covered by your insurance provider if you have out-of-network care included in your insurance plan. We will verify your insurance before your first visit. We are unable to accept Medicaid, EPO, and HMO plans, as these do not offer out-of-network options.

Can I use FSA or HSA payments for treatment?

Yes, our treatments are eligible for FSA and HSA payments. However, we request that you leave a credit card on file.

Questions About Our Practice

Are Schroth sessions different from a regular physical therapy session?

Yes. When paid out of pocket, Schroth Method sessions differ in both duration and pricing. Evaluations are 90 minutes, follow-up sessions are 60 minutes, and these extended times follow a separate fee schedule.

What conditions do you treat in your private practice?

We treat a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, hypermobility, pelvic floor dysfunction, post-surgical rehabilitation, and more. Our goal is to improve mobility, build strength, relieve pain, and enhance overall function. Explore our services.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment directly online or by submitting your information in our contact form. Alternatively, calling or texting Ashley, our office administrator at (917)727-1527. We offer both in-person and telehealth options.

What can I expect during my initial evaluation?
